- QIs Ultracapacitor dangerous regarding ACN(Acetonitrile)?
ACN(Acetonitrile) is one of material used as electrolyte of Ultracapacitor. Electrolytes are absorb in electrode and sealed in housing of cell for safety.
However, ACN(Acetonitrile) has concerns about the harmfulness from the flammable property or side-reaction gas from a misuse.

- QIs long product life (1 million cycle life or 10 years calendar life) really possible?
- Long term product life forecast is based on accelerated life test
conditions. Produce life is accelerated in higher temperature or operating
voltages and accelerated test conditions are based on the accelerating
relationship between mentioned factors. 1 million cycle life for cylindrical
cells, 0.5 million cycle life for medium size cells and 10 years calendar life
at 25℃ is based on our accelerated life test
conditions.

- QWhat is self-discharge characteristic of the Ultracapacitor? And how long is the charged state maintained?
The product self-discharge rate may be different by the initial charge state and temperature (condition) of the product.

- QHow does temperature and voltage effect on product life?
According to Arrhenius Equation commonly cited in Ultracapacitor, for every 10℃ drop of operational temperature, the product life becomes approximately double if all other conditions being equal. Likewise for every 0.1 V drop, the product life extends about double.
